Holy Discontent members always wear their vest, or “cut” during ministry-sanctioned events. Although we have mission requirements to become a fully-patched member, our patches are not “earned.” Our patches are “bought.” We are a motorcycle ministry only and have no intention of ever becoming a motorcycle club. We are friends of all bikers of all ministries, riding clubs and motorcycle clubs.
We’re Ridin’ Dirty
You will not find black cuts in our ministry. We’re ridin’ dirty. The only approved color cut is the “The Dirty Cut.” This color symbolizes humility. We’re the first to admit, when we’re rumbling down the road in a group of thundering Harley-Davidson’s, it’s easy to get a prideful swagger. That’s one of the joys of motorcycling. However, Jesus was swagger-free in his deeds, as we need to be too. Our dirty cut reminds us that we’re just as dirty as anyone else. We’re all sinners who were made from dirt. We fall short of the glory of God.
Then the Lord God formed a man from the dirt of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”  –
Genesis 2:7

Top Rocker (Holy Discontent)

The top rocker is our ministry name. Holy Discontent signifies that we are not personally and spiritually content with being a lazy, pew-sitting, apathetic Christian.
“For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.
“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?”
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.”
Matthew 25:42-45

Center Patch (Cross Motorcycle)

This patch is our official logo, which symbolizes the mission our motorcycle ministry. We are to move forward each day and put God’s word into action.

“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” – Luke 9:23

Road Name Badge

All members are required to have a road name. Road names help protect your anonymity in precarious ministry situations.

Chapter Badge

Out of respect to motorcycle clubs, and like many other motorcycle ministries, we do not wear a bottom rocker on the back of our cut. Instead, we identify different ministry chapters by a badge on the front of the cut. This only represents the ministry chapter location and does not represent territorial ownership of any kind. We just want to know where we’re all from during cookouts!

Additional Front Badges

Additional front badges are present for Holy Discontent executives, all chapter leadership and special chapter honors. The use of additional badges must be approved by the Phoenix Original chapter.

MM Patch

We are a motorcycle ministry (MM), not a riding club (RC) or a motorcycle club (MC). We will always be a ministry and have no intention of ever becoming a motorcycle club. If you do not understand the difference, please click here.
We highly respect the motorcycle culture, all ministries and motorcycle clubs. We strive to maintain great relationships with bikers from all walks of life.
